Color Inspiration // Orange

Hello my beauty lovers!

Today’s post is an inspiration of the color. This doesn’t need introduction since it’s pretty obvious what color it is from the front image look.

The main inspiration came from the eyeshadow palette that in million years would I have ever thought I would dare to wear orange eyeshadow. And here I am. And I have to say that I may be slightly obsessed with it.

I didn’t want to talk about the palette itself because it definitely deserves a complete full attention.

What’s in it for you

This is a 12 pan palette. There are four matte shades, three matte shaded with shimmer, four shimmer shades, and one packed glitter.

The matte shades blend so effortlessly and very pigmented. There’s very minimal to no fall out when you pick up the color with the brush out of the pan.

The shimmers are very pigmented, and apply with minimal fall out. I find it easiest to apply the shimmers with the finger. The shade Cruizin’ Is wonderful to use on the inner corner for a highlight.

The glitter shade El Capitan is loose but packed and is best applied with a sticky base.

The packaging

The packing is pretty basic and not any different in this palette than in this one or this one that I talked about in several if my posts. Take a look if case you missed them.

The Swatches

The picture is worth 1000 words. This statement definitely applies here, no further comments needed for obvious reasons.

Is it worth it?

Yes and yes! This palette is not only fun to look at but it also brings full and consistent quality. Also so much fun looks that you can do within the warm range.

The Look

I wanted for this to come out very wearable and it did, to my opinion. I hope to yours too. And if it doesn’t, that’s perfectly ok with me. Tastes different after all.

I love warm tones. And I could easily wear this all year round, may be would skip winter months.

I added glow under the brow bone with ABH highlight in the shade Oh so Hollywood( my all time favorite and well loved over the years) as well as for the rest of the face.

For this look I used the shade Gnarly – all over the lid, the shade The Bay – for the crease, to intensify the crease – shade Laguna, and the matte shade for all over the lid – Sequoia.

It is not visible in the picture too well, I used the glitter base to outline the lower lash line with glitter shade. It was very subtle however make the matte lid look a bit more fun and glam.

You guys already know from my previous posts about my favorite eyelashes. The ones I used here is a new set, and I could admit that these can be my new favorites too. Can a girl have 2 favorites? Haha, yes. I give myself permission to have more than one favorite lashes. These are so light and easy to apply due to the thin band. They are fluffy but look very neat on the eye due to the clear band. And can we just take moment to appreciate that curl.
