Hello my beauty lovers!
The beginning of the year has been very hectic and passed by very quickly. But we are not talking about that today. The chatting will be about some really good skincare products that I recently discovered and fell in love with some of them.
Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Oil. I have started 2 step cleanse routine about a year ago and it has done amazing things to my skin. Now I truly feel like my skin is very clean of all the products that I wore during the day. How did I get to try this specific oil wash?
It is the whole line of wonderful products that the brand launched. Initially I tested cleansing balm and it is still my favorite product to use, specially when traveling. I believe I highlighted it on my social media at one point. It was interesting, I received quite the amount of feedback about it – some said it already also was their favorite, and some were confused about it.
This oil is a part of a line. It is very lightweight, fragrance free ( the whole brand is fragrance free that’s why it is one of my favorites and majorly underrated brands). The price is very reasonable to the amount of product that you get. One very important thing is – It Works! Two pumps are more than enough for me to remove the whole face of makeup. This product leave NO residue like many oil cleansers of this category. I will definitely repurchase this oil wash.
Mario Badescu Enzyme Cleansing Gel. This is my first time trying the face wash from this brand and I am pleased. Even though it has slight scent to it ( which you already know how I feel about it) it doesn’t irritated neither my eyes nor my skin. It cleanses the skin without stripping it, and leaves it quite soft and moisturized. It leathers well; small amount goes a long way. I use this face wash for my current morning skincare routine because it is very gentle.
The Body Shop Tea Tree Face Mask. I have oily skin type and it has been a part of my skincare routine for a very long time – to detox my skin from oils/ buildups and dirt that gets into the pores from daily pollution, to makeup, to post workout sweat. Whatever it may be. I have been loving using the green tea mask on a weekly basis. This mask is very effective. You only need to apply thin layer, leave it for 10 minutes till it dries and graws the impurities out of pores, then wash it off with warm water. This mask has a tea tree scent, which comes from the natural teatree oil added into the product. However, the tea tree oil is a natural antiseptic which helps with breakout and clearing the skin in general. This mask does have a small amount of menthol that gives that fresh, tingling effect -just in case you are allergic to the ingredient. Otherwise this mask is one of the best detox ones that I have tried.

Lancome Hydra Zen Anti-Stress Glow Liquid Moisturizer. I have to say I was very sceptic about this product at first because of the rose word on it (Because you already know why). I have receive it in PR for testing. As it turned out, it is very light and thin formula. It is very easy to apply and small amount will go a long way. Thankfully, it didn’t break my skin out but instead it is very moisturizing product that leaves the most beautiful healthy glow. Me love it!
Biossance Squalane + Omega Repair Cream. I have already talked a bunch about products from this line. You may read full post here. This is a pricey cream product that will worth your money. The quality is amazing and makes the skin toned, moisturized and overall happy. If my skin is happy, I am happy.
Biossance Squalane + Peptide Eye Gel. Another amazing products from the brand that came for me from PR. I have to say, there are so many eye creams on the market which are more affordable. This cream doesn’t fall in that category- it is an investment piece. The quality is amazing! It is definitely worth that investment. I also recommend getting familiar with the brand itself, it stands for a lot of goodness as well as it makes wonderful quality skin care products that truly work. You may thank me later.
Origins Out of Trouble 10 Minute Mask. This is not a mask , this is THE mask. If you suffer from breakouts, this mask will be your savior. Initially, I tried this product in the sample size, then went back for the large one. You only need a very thin layer. At times, I only use it as a spot treatment. I use mask brush to apply it on my skin. Yes, this mask has a colloidal sulfur in it and it also smells like one. I won’t go on about the ingredient it left, please get familial on your own and make sure this is something that will be suitable for you and your skin. This is MY holy grail. This mask will be repurchased without a doubt once its’ finished.
Mamonde Lip Sleeping Mask. This is my new absolute favorite lip product. You may not know this yet, but I LOVE lip care products. This mask was a love at first try for me. First off, I Love the packing. The size is big enough that if you have linger nails, you’ll still be able to swirl the product out with your finger tip. The texture is very comfortable, very slightly sticky, not scented. The main thing – it does what it promises.
Clinique Acne Solutions Clinical Clearing Gel. This is another great product that I tend to reach for when I get a big breakout. I do NO PICKING on my skin. That was a sin in my very early 20’s. Even though the brand says it’s ok to apply this gel on larger areas, I only use it as a spot treatment. This is 1% Salicilic Acid and this ingredient is listed at number one in the ingredients list. This does burn on skin but it also does work to diminish and reduce the inflamed breakouts. If you get to try it, make sure to read all the product instructions and ideally do a patch test if you have never used anything like this.
Exuviance HydraSoothe Refresh Toner. I am new to this brand; this is the first product I have tried from it, and let me tell you- I am NOT dissipated at all. It is actually the opposite. This toner is so so good! it has cucumber, chamomile and hyaluronic acid in the ingredients and they do their job like no other in that combination. The skin is smooth, soft and toned down. A small tip: you may want to wait till Ulta has a promo to get it for better $$ 😉
