December 2019 Favorites // Makeup Edition// Eye Shadow Palettes// Reviews

With the year 2019 coming to an end, I wanted to share the category of my makeup collection that grew the most this past year – the eyeshadow palettes. I am a neutral tones lover and always have been and will be in the years to come. This year I definitely stepped out of my comfort zone and let myself try colors and tones that I would never expect myself to like, like rusty and burgundy / wine colors. However, those are my go -to new tones that I love now and reach out to a lot. They are still considered neutrals but more bold colors.

The following 4 palettes were added to my collection this past year. They are in different price ranges and the quality of all of them is great without exceptions.

Let’ s dive into ..

Too Faced Gingerbread Man Extra Spicy Palette This palette was recently launched for this holiday season. It is a second edition of its kind ( last year Too faced launched this one). There is a range of matte, shimmers and pressed glitter colors in this palette. The possibilities of looks are endless, wherever your imagination takes you. The color tone is overall warm. You can create looks from Halloween, to Thanksgiving, to Valentines Day. The quality of eyeshadows is very high and the shimmer colors pay off too. I have been reaching out to this palette a ton since I got it.

Nars Make up You Mind Palette I believe this palette was a limited edition. It might be still available on a secondary market. I couldn’t find any main retailers that still cary it. This palette was well worth the value. We all now that Nars producst are mostly of a great quality and this palette is not an exception. There are 3 blushes, 1 bronze shade and 8 eyeshadows – they are a combination of mattes, shimmers and glittery shades. It is pretty neutral palette and it is so easy to create very wearable looks as well as bring it up a notch with adding shimmer to the eyelids and deepening the outer corner. Packaging is Nars classic with a full size mirror. Beautiful and very useful, travel friendly face/ eyeshadow palette.

Revolution Beauty Rose Quartz Palette This palette has everything you need for every day work wear. It also got you covered for the holiday season with all the glitter shade range you will need to create the party looks. Read the full post here.

Essence Be you tiful Eyeshadow Palette This palette had a combination of mattes and shimmer shades, both warm and cool tones. It is such a beautiful palette that is super easy to use for every day use and by adding a pop of color, shimmer and eyeliner, any day look can be turned into night out one. The quality of this eyeshadow palette is so good, it can easily be compared to ABH palettes. It is very much underrated product and a huge plus is that it is so super affordable. If you love makeup and especially neutral colors , you NEED this palette in your life. You can thank me later.

What are your favorite eyeshadow palettes for fall / winter? Which ones that I mentioned you have in your collection?

  2. haha I know, right? definitely do. it is a good one. I guess drugstore brands work extra on making their products more appealing. High end ones already got their reps high, they don’t need to try that hard any ore.
